Day 1 saw the removal of screen 2 and 4's projection equipment, plus the removal of the white screens in the auditorium so they could be replaced with the silver screens needed to show the RealD 3D on.

Also unexpected surprises awaited us underneath most of the projectors in the form of a large concrete blocks of differing sizes...
For 2 weeks in February 2010 the Apollo 9 screen cinema underwent the single biggest change in it's 13 year history when all of the 35mm projection equipment was replaced with state of the art 4K digital projectors.
Over the course of the installation I took a range of photos to document the work that took place and show the significant difference between the old and new technology.
